How Cassia Works
Cassia is an AI assistant that learns your Xero bookkeeping and helps code your bank transactions automatically.
Invite Cassia into Xero
We'll provide a unique email address to add Cassia as a standard user to Xero.
Cassia then logs into Xero and starts learning the bookkeeping of the business:

Cassia builds a unique AI model for every business
Cassia learns how:
bank transactions were coded/labeled,
which customers and suppliers have invoices or bills.
Then Cassia creates a unique AI bookkeeping model for each business.
Cassia auto-magically matches your transactions in Xero
Once trained on your books, here’s how Cassia deals with new bank transactions
Identifies the contact – predicts the right supplier or customer.
Checks if the contact uses bills or invoices
If the contact does not: Cassia codes/labels the transaction to the correct account (e.g. "200 - Sales", or "502 - Internet & Mobile").
If the contact does use bills or invoices: Cassia matches the bank transaction directly to a bill or invoice.
Cassia completes this in Xero, so you don't have to!
Review and Undo
Review
Cassia gives you a 12-48 hour review window before it reconciles transactions in Xero, letting you open the Cassia app to review, adjust, or cancel any bookkeeping.
Undo
Cassia can undo any bank-transaction matches already completed in Xero.
In the Cassia App, simply click a transaction to "remove & redo", and Cassia will log into Xero and remove the account transaction.
